The rooms were outdated and needed upgrades. Many of the rooms the toilet and the bath tubs were stained and not clean. The rooms need to be taken off the availability list and be upgraded. Terrible terrible. I regret staying there

Horrible

The hotel had a giant whole in the ceiling beside my room...insulation hanging out. No Ice maker in the entire hotel...so I had to walk to the restaurant next door for a cup of ice to go with my drink. The ac didn't work...found this out after I came back from my ever....the room was hot!! Do not recommend!

This hotel is convenient.

This hotel is convenient to all things Columbia MD and the 95 corridor. The room is spacious and the amenities are clean. The bed & pillows were uncomfortable. Do not expect a real breakfast there - when they say "grab & go" that's really all that is offered - anything that fits in a cup. The hotel staff was pleasant at check-in. The facility met my needs for my time in MD but did not exceed.

It's not bad for one night.

Pros: It was close for the event we were attending.
Cons: Better quality bed and pillows.
Location: Nothing I noted.
The clerk was friendly. We were given a room with a kitchenette. Great! There was not a cup, plate or pot in the cupboards. There was a dishwasher. Why? There was nothing to wash. There was no ice. The freezer had ice trays with no ice and no ice machine in the building. Just confusing. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. The pillows were feather. Not great for people with sever allergies. But the room was clean and the water hot. The complementary breakfast was somewhat disappointing. It was muffins, coffee and oatmeal. I was really expecting, eggs, waffles or pancakes and maybe some juice. Would I want to spend a week on vacation there? No, absolutely not. But was it good for the one night we needed it? Yes.

Close to Merriweather Post Pavilion

The bed only had 2 small pillows. Blanket and sheet threadbare. Took forever to get water to get hot. Bathroom sink had tempature knob that turned alllllll the way around so it was hard to switch from water temps. The tub had very weak to minimal stream the faucet turned all the way around so water was everywhere. Tub did not drain shower water for hours. Shower curtain not long enough to contain water. One small washcloth I asked for another and was told they were in the wash. Never again would I stay there ... I went to MARSHALLS and bought a pillow and blankets slept between them.

Good overnight stay for the price

Pros: Good value for the price.
Cons: The only minor complaint was the room had a slight stare odor (Febreze would do the trick.)
Location: Conveniently located to my different points of destinations and to shopping malls and places to eat all meals.
I needed a decent hotel for a one night stay for a wedding in Baltimore, followed by a Sunday brunch in Columbia. I didn't want to pay more than $100 since I wasn't getting to the hotel until late evening. In fact, I didn't get to the hotel until 10:45 pm. I did call the hotel in advance to let them know I was going to be a very late check-in. Everything was in order when I arrived. The desk clerk called my room shortly after I arrived to make sure I was pleased with the room. I was surprised that it was equipped with a full kitchen (cabinets, full refrigerator, dishwasher). Everything was comfortable. I was able to check out a little later, noon instead of 11am. Check out was easy and the desk clerk asked how my stay was.

Extended Say America Ruins a Weekend

I made a reservation for Saturday night through Travelocity. I printed the confirmation. The wife and I showed up at Extended Stay America-Columbia-Columbia Corporate Park and was told that the confirmation was no good and that there was no room because Extended Stay had rented the room to another party at a higher rate than the Travelocity rate. Good job Travelocity/ Extended Stay America-Columbia-Columbia Corporate Park!
