we really like the loft style of the unit we stayed in, so we have seperate area from the kids, staffs were very nice and friendly, the only negative we have is the tennis court was in bad shape and rackets they provided were bad shape too, I think they should be Free to use them.

Great location, comfortable and modern

Pros: Loved the location and how quiet it is as well as the close proximity to a lot of great hikes.
A very conveniently located condo property at the edge of Banff. It is nice and quiet, the staff was very friendly. The on-property restaurant had very good food and prompt service at good prices. Our condo was very nicely decorated, maybe a wee bit on the small side, but still comfortable for just the two of us. Kitchen had all the basic essentials, which was really nice. Recently remodeled interior was very nice. One minor drawback, not a big deal, but no AC. So being there in the summer, while not hot at all outside, the condo is so well insulated, it felt warm inside at the end of the day. After the first day and the discovery of no AC, just left the window open pretty much all the time after that and regulated the temp pretty well that way. The other minor-ish drawback, the TVs in our condo were terrible. The living room and bedroom sets were both flaky and very frustrating. They would work one minute and not the next. We were able to watch some TV though.

This is a time share/hotel.

Pros: The soap was nice.
Cons: Place needs a complete overhall.
Location: Lots to see, but this place is outside of town....so have a car.
This plac is in need of upkeep. The pool water left a smell on us that I can only compair with stinky feet. The room was small, and the bed was so lumpy it looked like there was someone already in it. Wild animals right out the window was nice as was the lavender handmade soaps.

Quite frankly, this place has seen better days. Possibly it is because we were there in off season - but the place was empty and seedy looking. Seemed to be run by part time college kids. The shuttle to town was a nice touch, but at night we did not want to wait on a shuttle. Wished we had stayed closer to town. Frankly, I had chosen other options but cancelled them and opted for this place because of the "amenities" - which were none. We traveled over a week and stayed in 5 different places in Jasper, Revelstoke, Kamloops and finally in Vancouver - and this was my biggest lodging mistake...

Mediocre hotel. Away from downtown hustle.

Pros: The three good lakes are very close by. Wild-life is also quite readily visible.
Cons: Train sounds at night. Cracked walkways. Old rooms need renovation. Website said laundry in room, but only available in hotel. not in room
The location of the hotel is better for those who love quiet places to stay.

Felt like I got an upgrade!

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
I was so pleased with our room. I was expecting a standard room so I was so surprised to have a wonderful fireplace, couch, coffee table and fridge in our room. We had just been camping so the fireplace was wonderful and we used it everyday. I was a little worried we were far from the center of town but it ended up being a blessing. It was nice and quiet and the shuttle was very convenient and meant we didn't have to worry about trying to find parking downtown. Perfect. I will book here every year.
