This place was amazing! This is our third time in Banff and this place offered the best views from the room than most of the hotels on Banff Ave. We had a one bedroom suite and the only critique is that there was no dressers in the room to unpack. The bedroom is on the smaller size but didn’t feel cramped. We ended up just unpacking into the kitchen cupboards and that worked perfectly for us. All the kitchen appliances were brand new, the couch was very comfy. Parking is the only thing, we ended up parking our whole time here (6 days) at the Cascade Shops parking garage, it’s $30 a day but we were on the 4th floor and there’s access from the hotel to the parking garage if your on the 3rd or 4th floor. We would go out during the day come back around 4pm and leave the next day around 8am and that was $30 Overall I highly recommend Basecamp Banff especially if you’re looking to save money by cooking meals in the room like we did. Hotel is right by the IGA and easy to get from and to the IGA, liquor store and Banff Ave
