We travel to Thailand every few years and this is best Bangkok stay yet. We don’t do a lot of stuff in Bangkok as we mainly use it as a couple day recover from the flight location, so I have no idea how centrally located it is to a lot of other stuff. But the Central Plaza 2 (maybe 3?) is a 10 minute walk. Anything you need is there The buffet breakfast here is top notch and we included it in the booking. Some western options, Thai options, and Indian options. Staff were great. Really awesome. We will stay again.
