The Grand Hotel was a very nice place. Staff was nice upon arrival. Very close to everything, we walked everywhere we wanted to go! Truly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed. Note: pool and spa wasn’t opened for the season yet.

The Bar Harbor Grand was clean, very well maintained, with pleasant and helpful staff at all levels. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and juice were available free 24 hours a day, the breakfast was complete and well prepared and ready by 6:30am for an early start to your day (although the sun rose at 5, a couple days we were out and back in time for breakfast) The hotel's location was perfect with adequate parking, as Bar Harbor is small enough to walk anywhere, so there was no need to search for parking when shopping or dining. I would definitely choose the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel next time I visit Mount Desert Island. My wife and I visited for a week in mid-May and although the weather was less than perfect, the stay at Bar Harbor and Acadia NP was wonderful. Thank you
