Great place to stay! It is in walking distance to everything. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and very spacious. The breakfast was delicious.

Having never stayed at a B&B before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the Primrose Inn has been such a highlight of this trip. From the super quaint exterior to the uniquely styled rooms, not to mention the INSANELY delicious breakfasts and tea times every afternoon - this was THE most perfect place.

Great place to stay in Bar Harbor

Pros: Location, breakfast, management
Location: Acadia, shopping, restaurants, ocean
This B&B is VERY well managed. There was always someone at the front desk or on the first floor to help if you needed anything. Breakfast was delicious and quick, exactly what it should be -- walk downstairs, sit at a table, and the staff asks you if you want sweet or savory...within a couple minutes your plates are brought out. Location was great. Easy walk to downtown. Lots of extras at this hotel too -- a wall of recent movie releases to check out, a CD tour of Acadia for a rainy day drive around the park, and recommendations for things to do. Room 7 was comfortable. They've kept very good care of this historic building. If we go back, we'd book the Primrose again.

First class accommodations and food

Melissa thought of everything to make my stay relaxing. The rooms are beautiful and quiet but easily within walking distance to town and the waterfront. Breakfast was scrumptious each and every day. Can't wait to return next year!
