Close to attractions but overpriced

Given the high costs ($419/night and $25/night for resort fees), we expected spectacular facilities and services, but this experience was comparable to experiences at less expensive hotels. They have an infinity pool that overlooks the harbor, but it is small. We were told that we could use the sister hotel's facilities. Again for the price, I expected soft towels (extremely rough), slippers with my robe, turn down service (available but you have to request it). If the rate was more moderate, would not have these expectations.

Great location with nautical feel and friendly staff!

Big city feel in quaint little Bar Harbor! What a convenient location and great view of the harbor. Nothing beats the view from the top where the infinity pool is located. Great Irish pub that we ate at twice and were not disappointed. Highly recommend this new hotel with great, friendly staff and more than adequate rooms.
