Nice location but disappointed with room

Location was nice with views of the harbor. However, the room was uncomfortable. The shower was like a cave. Dark and not hospitable. The bathroom layout had inadequate space to hang towels or do much else with. Closet storage was also lacking. Furniture was not comfortable. Bed wasn't to bad but kept slipping across the room. Not worth the cost.

Repeat Visit

Pros: Location along the water, views of the port are lovely. Bed is very comfortable and shower is so roomy and enjoyable. Love Keurig coffee machine.
Cons: Parking lot between hotel and port can get pretty busy and noisy.
Location: Scenic because of port/water. Easy to get to Born neighborhood and most major tourist sites by walking.
Wanted to return to this hotel because our first visit at beginning of our trip to Spain/France was so lovely. When we arrived the second time we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been upgraded to a lovely port view room on a higher floor more toward the center of hotel and the view was lovely. Very thoughtful of management and very appreciated. Only disappointment was that the front desk did not offer us anything to drink though the beverages were chilling. Our first visit we were offered a drink immediately. Staff seemed less overly welcoming, but there may have been some reason for their preoccupation. Otherwise, everything was exactly as lovely as before. This is a beautiful hotel and it is so pleasant to be along the waterfront and still within an easy walk to most major tourist sites. Have some very nice memories from staying at H10 Port Veil. When we return to Barcelona we know where we will be staying.
