Great Hotel with a location close to Metro and bus

Cons: When making up a king bed from two twin, strap them together so they don't come apart.
Location: Great location, see review.
We had a back room that looked behind the hotel. Room was clean and got made up each day. The room was clean along with the bathroom. We actually had a big room and bathroom so none of the problems other reviewers seemed to complain about. All the floors were clean but the wood flooring was slick. The reason I make note of this is; we had two twin beds pushed together to make a king. Something most of the hotels in Spain do. Here was the problem, if I wanted to sleep next to my wife and rolled over the gap between the beds, the floor was so slick the beds would separate and you would start to fall in between the two beds. They make and sell straps that will wrap around the bed and lock them into place and maybe the hotel had them, I never asked. This isn't a deal breaker and this room is probably set-up as two separate twins most of the time. Just worth mentioning. I would stay here again but it was the most expensive hotel during our month long stay in Spain at ~$100 euros a night, probably due to last minute booking. It's right across the street from the Gracia metro, 10-15 minute walk to Fontana metro stop and the Metro is the only way to travel in this city. Cheap with a 10 ticket pass and fast. Located near lots of small restaurants if you are willing to venture into the heart of the small neighborhood streets and plaza's. Walking distance Guell park. We never ate breakfast in the hotel, we always went to small cafe's.
