Where is the ceiling?

Very nice hotel with many good restaurants within walking distance. Lobby, lounge, pool and restaurant are very comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was lacking in variety and if you don't eat pork then better to skip the buffet and go to the closest panadería. Staff were very friendly and most were able to carry on simple conversations in English. Really liked the hotel but one thing kept me from giving it a 100% excellent overall rating; the ceilings in the rooms, there are none. For some reason the designer of the hotel decided to not install a suspended ceiling or even to paint the bare concrete ceiling. This may have been done to give the hotel some sort of modern looking theme but it actually looks terrible in contrast to the wonderfully decorated rooms. My traveling mate and I actually returned to the lobby and asked the receptionist to give us a completed room because the room she gave us was still under construction.
