The outside of the building was not finished. The 1st room they sent us to was not cleaned from the last guest, bed not changed, room was dirty. The second room the shower head was coming off the wall the door lock on the inside of the door was broken and hanging off, the trim was unfinished in the bathroom, and dirty, the elevator was dirty. We left after going to two rooms that were unfit. We went to the front desk and told them we want our money back she said we would have to contact Travelocity for a refund. So we did and we are still waiting on our $242.34 to be return to us from this embarrassment of a hotel. They should not be opened until there rooms are finished and need to have a way to verify the rooms are clean other than guest having to tell them. We had to find another hotel at the last minute and did not use Travelocity because we didn't get a refund so far from the hotel and are afraid this could happen again. So I will wait to use Travelocity until our money gets returned because this hotel was unfit to stay in 2 rooms.

I disliked this hotel TOTALLY. First of all, they did not have the pool that they said they had on their advertising. They didn't have any breakfast at all. They tried to charge me for a room that I had cancelled, and I had to show them my cancellation. Very unfriendly. Rooms were much worse than even a Motel 6. I would never go back to this property.

The rooms were disgusting. The walls had drink stains on them. The sheets looked stained. The bathtub looked as if it had not been cleaned. The water did not drain in the tub.

The front desk person was not friendly and genuinely did not seem to be interested in greeting and assisting guests. The hotel overall looked very rundown. The rooms needed updating and the bathrooms were awful. The toilet seat needed to be replaced and the tub was dirty. I have stayed at LaQuinta hotels before in the Baton Rouge area but this one was the worst and I'll make not to stay at this location again.

Hotel smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a no-smoking facility. Also the air conditioning in my room went out during the middle of the night and there was nobody there overnight that we could have addressed the issue so our room was hot.
