Was told the pool was open prior to booking when we arrived pool was closed for renovations. Refused to refund money

Unfortunately, when you book online, many times the website will collect your payment and then they will pay us. So we can't really do anything about refunds here at the hotel. You'd have to contact the website and ask them for a refund, since they are the ones that have your payment. I'm sorry this happened, but sometimes with online bookings, there isn't much we can do.

We were the only ones that booked with Hilton Garden Inn, and I'm so thankful we did. Everyone with our baseball team complained and was beyond upset with their picks of other hotels. Super happy with everything at HGI.

Disappointing

Cons: Booking practices
Location: I was in Beaumont for a conference.
When I arrived at the hotel, which had been booked 6-8 weeks before, I was notified that since I got there after 5 o'clock they had already rented my room out to someone else but that they would try to find me another room at another hotel. The young lady did the "I'll call my manager and see if there is anything else I can do" routine and did eventually get us a suite at this hotel but what disappointed me was that just because I got there after 5 o'clock, they decided to rent my room out. I would probably stay at another HIlton Garden Inn again if I have to but they won't be my first choice anymore.

Home away from home

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
This hotel really felt like home.. The staff was super nice and eager to help. Will definitely be back.
