Windmill House -Guest Cottage w/pool in Texas Hill Country

Come enjoy our Cozy Windmill Cottage Guest House with refreshing shared pool (shared by 3 ranch homes) right outside your door in the Texas Hill Country.  The house has been gently restored and offers 3 bedrooms and 3 baths to accommodate large groups or families. If scenic views and starry nights are your cup of tea then come for a visit. Or if you are visiting friends and family or attending a wedding at one of the many area venues come enjoy some time at the Ranch! We are within 7 minutes of Park 31 and Kendall Point.  Guests have access to all amenities at the Ranch which include the Shared Pool, Fire-pit, and Pond area.  Owners live on site and are avaiable for guests but provide privacy.  We are off the beaten path, Secluded from the hustle of the city but close enough so that guests can enjoy what San Antonio and the Hill Country have to offer.  You definitely need a car to get to the Ranch.  We are located in a rural area so we ask that guests bring bug spray and closed toed shoes if they wish to explore the ranch.  We also have other homes on site to rent for larger groups. Two bungalows are available See my profile for other available homes.   Pool hours are from 10am- 9pm

Great place with unique story!
Had business in Boerne and didn’t want to stay in a traditional hotel. Husband and I with 3 young kids stayed at the Windmill House and loved it. We explored the property and surrounding areas and it was so picturesque.

Wonderful Stay!
We enjoyed our stay at Windmill House for my nephew's wedding. The property was beautiful and was just a short drive to the wedding venue. The home is warm and inviting. The Texas Hill Country views were amazing and the host was very helpful! The rest of our family rented the Tree House and Pond House Bungalows that are on the property as well and they were also amazing and unique! We will be returning to Bergheim Ranch for another family stay soon. Thank you!

We loved the beauty of the property and it’s easy access to many surrounding locations.
We came in for a summer get away. We floated the Comal River, went to the Riverwalk, and shopped & dined all around. The location puts you 30 minutes from just about everywhere you’d like to go. The host was easy to reach and communicate with. Only downside was the A/C didn’t seem to be big enough to fully cool the house down. They have put in some window units and a split unit to remedy this. Some rooms don’t get cool enough in my opinion. Overall we would stay again. We recognize that Texas is HOT in the summer and A/Cs work hard during that time.

Girls Trip
The Windmill House had plenty of room, with places to gather and play games or visit! We did it all. The pool was great! We are a group of friends from high school that are now in our 60s. We get together once a year! We were close enough to explore towns, but were able to hang out and visit too.
