City Hotel Berlin East was conveniently located for our purposes. It was close to train stops making it easy to travel throughout Berlin. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel if I return to Berlin.

Staff pleasant always tried to help. On the 3rd and 4th day of our stay the airconditioning in the room stopped working. The front desk was supposed to send us a table fan. When we reminded them they said no fan was available. So we were in the heat for 48 hours. The hotel compensated by refunding what we paid for our breakfast. On the bright side, the hotel is close to the tram stop and shops. The restaurant in the hotel was nice. We had breakfast and dinner there.
