Good hotel in convenient location

Pros: Good room, efficient elevators, responsive staff, nice (though pricey) restaurant options.
Cons: Although a Marriott rewards member, I didn't sense any benefits as such when I checked in. I consider a shower cap a necessity!
Location: Close to son's home
Mixup caused by Travelocity mistake (not changeable) meant we had to make a second reservation directly with the hotel, which was complicated by wildly changing rates from day to day for the same room. Ended up moving after 3 days to save money at a similar Marriott properties. Cutbacks by hotel included no shower caps, Qtips, only 1 small bar soap etc. didn't expect that in a full service hotel. Disappointing.

Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center

Pros: Our stay was wonderful from check-in to check-out.
Cons: I can't think of a thing!
Location: Location was close to main highways and perfect for our needs. There was outdoor and indoor dining and entertainment within walking distance.
Front desk was organized, quick & friendly. Room was wonderful and very clean. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and prices were very reasonable. We would definitely come again and recommend to friends.

Loved the view of the lake!

Pros: Everything except the music in the lounge.
Cons: The music in the lounge was loud & distracting -- I needed soothing & relaxing music on a Sunday night, not "noise" that would set my nerves on edge!
Location: Great location! We especially enjoyed the lake view and the restaurants & theaters nearby. Would love to go back!
The bed was so comfortable that I never want to stay anywhere except at a full-service Marriott Hotel when we travel! The staff was friendly & very helpful. Wonderful experience!

Great place to stay.

Pros: friendly staff, went the extra mile
Cons: no free breakfast
The staff was very responsive. The housekeeping staff person who brought our crib actually set it up for us without being asked! That's a first! When there were some teens talking loudly in the hall they took care of it immediately after we called about it. The beds are super comfortable with a down-type comforter and lots of pillows. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough. Great basic stay. The only negatives? I assumed there would be a mini-fridge and a microwave -- no such luck. Also, no continental breakfast. For such a great price and comfortable stay, I'll deal with that!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Very nice hotel. Accomodating staff. Peaceful location. Very close to DC and other areas of interest.

great hotel

we enjoyed staying at this hotel. the only problem was that they tricked us into staying on the second floor and our view was of the giant air conditioner. so that was unpleasant but other than that we enjoyed are stay.

Perfect location

We loved our stay at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center. The location was perfect for walking or a brief car ride to shopping and a lot of restaurants. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. We drove over to a Metro station within two miles and road into DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival. It was very conveniently located for this and overall we had a great experience and would stay again.
