The additional $5 "amenity fee" was extremely distasteful to me. The rate is the rate!

I liked that it was in town and walking distance from everything. I didn’t like that the air conditioner didn’t work. Pillows were flat not fluffy. Walls are super thin. Heard neighbors all night long arguing. Sink was dripping so heard water dripping all nite long. Not a good experience sorry

Great place to stop and sleep for the night when driving from SoCal to Tahoe. Clean, quiet + amenities and friendly staff. Parking is close to room. Room has a decent size flat screen tv, comfy bed and eating area, fridge, microwave, and a nice shower. Hot tub and pool was a bonus! The continental breakfast had a surprisingly big variety of pastries, bagels, cereal, coffee juice etc... FIVE STARS for the price!

The Travelodge was clean, nice people,close to a variety of restaurants, a great bakery, and gasoline, Everything was in walking distance. It was a block off of the main street, so it was quiet.

Feefback on Travelodge at Bishop

Whole experience was positive except for the noise created by the airconditioner which sounds like a truck outside the room whenever it kicks on to bring room temp back up. This went on all evening which disrupts ones sleep!

You get what you pay for.

Pros: The price.
Location: Located very close to the middle of town, you can walk to nearby restaurants and shops.
The most uncomfortable bed(s) I have ever slept on. We booked a ground level room with a king bed but when we checked in we were told that our room was not available due to "maintenance issues". The hotel "upgraded' us to a 2nd floor room (stair access only) with two queen beds that strangely looked like full size beds. This would be great if me and my wife slept alone... Also, be prepared to wake up early, and I mean like 3AM early! Apparently fishermen like to book this hotel and they like to get an early start of which you can hear everything through the paper thin walls.

Way overpriced and shabby

The condition of our room was less than satisfactory. We paid $400 for a 2 day stay. The hotel was falling apart and seemed like it had not been renovated since the late 1990’s. The toilet was leaking and the AC unit was louder than a Mack truck. Bring your own everything, including pillows and towels (very scratchy). The sheets had stains (maybe blood or fecal matter?). Someone had set the alarm clock for 4:00am which was almost as loud as the AC. Needless to say, we will never be staying there again. After seeing some of the other hotels in the town and talking with some of the locals, I would recommend staying at the Creekside Resort.

Stay somewhere else

Cons: Cleanliness and breakfast
Our room with 2 queen beds was almost $300 after all the extra taxes and fees were added. The staff was nice. Upon first glance, our room was mediocre. Then we saw multiple black webs over the window (see photo). The room had an overall rundown feel. The breakfast was cold food only. They should say continental breakfast on their website. Definitely not a good value.
