I requested an accessible room for my mobility limited wife. At reception was told there were none available and that the only difference between accessible and regular room was the height of the toilet. We were given a room on the second floor. When asked where was the elevator, was told there was none. I had to help my wife climb 20 stairs. Though there was signage that mandated masks in public areas, it was not enforced. We were the only guests who complied. Otherwise, a typical property for the price.

Stayed here on a visit to ISU. Convenient location near the mall and restaurants. The drive to the university took about 5-7 minutes. Our non-smoking room was very big and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Newer bedding and carpet throughout the room and hallway. No hint of smoke in our non-smoking room. Entire floor smelled fresh and clean. Breakfast was not bad and adequate for a quick start to our day. Exterior could use a little more curb appeal.

Close to airport

Hotel was clean and nice. Had a king suite and it was huge. Nice pool and decent breakfast.

Family visit

Pros: Location
Cons: Make non-smoking in the hotel or separate the smoking and non-smoking rooms. The hotel needs a general updating
we booked the hotel because Quality Inn is usually nice and clean however we will not be returning to this one. We booked non-smoking and this room was however the rooms on each side were not and the guests were in the hallway and lobby smoking thus making it very strong in our room. This really surprised me with the Illinois smoking laws The toilet handle fell off and it took maintenance 4 hours to get someone there,

In need of remodel

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
Based on reading other reviews, I was not expecting much. I didn't get much. This hotel is in need of updating and repair. The carpet in my room was quite diry with many stains. It was very difficult to get a good temperature with the heater in the room. I woke up at night too cold and had to turn it on, until I woke up too hot... Could hear all conversation from anyone walking down the hall outside the room. On the plus side the girl that checked me in and seemed to be working the evening shift during my stay was very nice and helpful with restaurant reccomendations.
