Boogers smeared on the sheets in one bed, crumbs in the other…so the beds weren’t changed after the last people to occupy the room. The front desk seemed aware this was a problem but because it was evening, she wasn’t able to address the issue. In the morning, the woman at the front desk was gruff and avoided eye contact, saying “the manager has already dealt with this” even though there had been zero communication with me about the issues. The rooms are dirtier than a La Quinta should allow and the behavior of the staff says they know there are issues but no one cares so they don’t care. The air filter in the ac unit was so dirty; it likely hasn’t been cleaned in years. A good possibility as to why we needed up with sinus infections after our stay!! The hotel needs an update (ripped mattress covers with yellow stains, dirty bathrooms, minimal amenities for room booked for 5, etc). I’d give a better review since they discounted our stay because of the filth…but they could’ve just cleaned and received full price. When mentioned to another hotel in the area on our way back through, it’s known to the local hospitality groups as a dirtier property. Stay at one of the other hotels for a better experience, it’s worth the extra couple bucks.
