Adorable inn close to everything. Our room was clean, spacious and perfect for our quick stay. Unexpectedly, we did not arrive until midnight, so I was glad that the check in instructions I received thru email worked like a breeze. Just a small note, I broke my foot and had to wear a boot and there are stairs into the main building and down in the breakfast area that were difficult to navigate. Salem is a very old city and the inn is also old so this is not surprising or necessarily a negative but just something to keep in mind if you have difficulty getting around.

And you're right, the stairs can be difficult as the Inn properties are all historic and can't accommodate elevators. I loved the style of the room! Exposed bricks and beams with white was paint. The bathroom was updated and soothing. The balcony off the bedroom was a very nice touch. Service was outstanding.

I loved how everything was done contact free. Check in, check out, food orders, and door access codes were all done through text. It made things very fast, easy and safe.

I loved being treated by the zebra finches in the lobby. They are also pet friendly which I didn't realize. The house was furnished inperiod style yet had a jetted tub and vending machines tucked away.
