Cottage in Chatauqua

Pros: See above.
Cons: On time check in guarantee, reduction in price and a swimming pool.
Location: Drive to Flagstaff Mountain for a beautiful view of Boulder. Eldorado State Park is a quick drive and interesting to watch rock climbers on multiple
Our first impression of Chattauqua was not good. Check in was to be at 4:00 p.m. I called at 2:00 p.m. hoping for an early check in. The cottage was not ready so we showed up at 4:00 p.m. only to be told the cottage had not been cleaned yet. They did credit our account $30.00 as we were not able to check in until 4:45 p.m. Had it not been non-refundable we would have left. The staff were very pleasant and apologetic. The cottage was quaint and they are very close together. The pluses are the access to hiking trails on site, beautifully landscaped grounds, and good food at the dining room. For the price, I will not go back.

The cabin was quaint and cozy

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Perfect place to stay if you want cozy and quiet! The staff was incredibly helpful and even printed out a map to hot springs for me. The cabin was delightful and made me wish I was staying longer. I highly recommend this lodge, it's right off the hiking trails and just a short trek to Pearl Street for entertainment and shopping.
