The city of Brampton is part of the Greater Toronto Area, but it has its own style for sure. It even has its own Walk of Fame celebrating locals made good, like actor Alan Thicke, comedian Russell Peters and singer Keshia Chanté. Speaking of the arts, no Brampton trip would be complete without a stop at the impressive Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives. There are 12,000 artifacts in the museum section alone, so set aside a good few hours to take it all in. Outdoorsy folk will find plenty to give them their nature fix in Brampton. The beautiful Claireville Conservation Area is home to thousands of birds, hiking trails and abounding nature.
