Greetings. Our fitness center consist of three larger pieces of equipment and the treadmill has unfortunately developed an issue that has taken longer than usual to get the part for. Fine for the money

Good for kids when you need a quick stop going through town. Make sure you eat at the Marina!

Bad Experience, No Room

I booked a non smoking room at this hotel seven months ago. I called twice the week of my stay to double check that the room was non smoking (I am highly allergic to smoke). Once I arrived I was promptly given my key (good) but then got the room to find a do not disturb sign on the door. I double checked the room number on my key, it was indeed the room I had been given. I went ahead to see if the key worked in the door. Yep. Once I opened the room the smell of cig smoke hit me hard. It was as if someone had just smoked an entire pack then shut the door to make sure the smell stuck. I went back to front desk to ask for a non smoking room and let him know I am allergic to smoke. The desk staffer said there were no other rooms and acted like it was my problem to figure out. I had to call and find a reservation at another hotel. I heard him say to someone else, in a sarcastic way, that I do not like smoke. It is more than not liking it. I am talking asthma attack and hospital visit. It was as if he completely disregarded the fact that as the desk staffer, this was HIS problem to fix. NO apology. No acceptance of responsibility. The more I think about it the more I realize it had to have been a staffer that was in the room smoking, maybe him. How else would there be a do not disturb sign on the door of a room that had been cleaned already. And how could the smoke still be in the air (not just in carpet and sheets)? I am not a picky person at all but I do expect someone to acknowledge when they make a mistake and understand that when they are working in customer service it is THEIR job to find a solution to fix such a mistake and to do so in a respectful manner. Needless to say, I will not be reserving there in the future.
