The room was nice at first glance, but the creaky floors, hard mattress and broken bathroom fixtures made it hard to entice us. Location is good, but the rest was so-so.

The Experience Is a Step Above

The restaurant is its primary feature. Even if you stay elsewhere on your visit to Budapest, you shouldn’t miss having it least one of your meals at this supreme restaurant. If you are able to book one of their deLux rooms, the rooms are notable in their very high ceilings, and interesting high double frame-with-glass window systems. Another interesting situation is that the “hotel” is next door to city hall, and the city leaders have decreed that no cars other than for city workers, or taxis, may use the streets surrounding the city hall. This makes for an elimination of city traffic and the associated noice in the area.
