I didnt like the fact that i was overcharged, just for having a female, present. And all she did was hrlp me bring my bags to the door.

I think you may have the wrong hotel. As we do not charge for 2nd person.

The room was basic but clean. The phone seemed to have a problem--I called the fr ont desk a couple times with questions, but apparently they couldn't hear me. The long walk from the rooms to the office/breakfast area is inconvenient in the cold weather. The restaurant bar/restaurant next door is a convenient asset--good food.

While this could fall into the category of a no-frills motel, the rooms were exceptionally clean and roomy. The front desk staff was accommodating. What a great value for the price.

Room very small, only a full size bed and not very good mattress. It was clean and check in was easy. Contiental breakfast was a joke. Coffee terrible, left it to go get someplace else. Only had bagels and yogurt so didn't even try anything. You get what you pay for, it was cheap.

nice room & nice price

Pros: the staff's competence and courteous
Cons: hope they finish the remodel soon
Location: a restaurant was within walking distance - good food
the only problem was they were refurbishing the motel so we recvd a call in the morning letting us know the water would be turned off in 30 mins. they also called when the water was resorted - it was only off for about 20 mins.

It was a nightmare!!!

Cons: see "my review"
We booked the hotel for 3 rooms: 9 people all- together, including 3 kids- youngest was 10 months. When we arrived around 10:30 pm only one room was booked and it had a totally different confirmation # than we received online. To make things worse, the hotel did not have any other rooms available, and because it was a holiday we could NOT find another hotel that had 3 rooms available for us to stay, even though we called about 30 of them ( called every hotel/ motel that was on the list!) On top of that the staff was NOT very helpful at all- they gave us incorrect phone #'s/ addresses of other hotels and made us feel like it was our fault that we did not have the right reservations and conf #'s. However, during that hour that we spend in that hotel trying to look for a place to stay, several other customers came through the door that had the same or similar problems with their reservations! Can you believe it?! That made us even more upset especially because the hotel staff acted as if it was the first time they heard of a complaint/ problem related to customers' reservation that night! It was a nightmare- especially because we had 3 small kids with us.

Good hotel for the money paid

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Rooms were clean, hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good, internet was pretty good. Would stay again!

Never again!

Rooms unclean, ants on carpet, wireless internet unreliable, staff rude. Rates were cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

Econo Lodge South, Blasdell, NY

On day one, housekeeping woke me up to inquire whether or not I would be in need of their service. Not pleasent, but forgivable. On day two, housekeeping knocked on my door, and before I could answer, she burst right in!!!!! Thankfully I was clothed. Did I mention the shower didn't work? No microwave, nor fridge in the rooms. Inexpensive rates, you get less than what you pay for here!!! My rating...zero.
