Kids camp, tennis, golf, nature trails and biking... you can be as busy as you want to be. We loved bingo and trivia nights and the incredible breakfast buffet. Wonderful places to sit and relax, on the porch swing at the main lodge and Adirondack chairs throughout the property.. we absolutely loved it.

we were offered no help in finding our room after checking in. It was 1/4 mile away, in a separate building with very poor signage. A very poor welcome. No TV to follow the news. No ice available. We were told breakfast was included, but it was not and it cost $52.00 for two with ordinary scrambled eggs and a few muffins. Barely adequate, but certainly not worth $52.

Thank you for your feed back. We do not in fact offer TV's in any of our accommodations, however, we do offer wireless internet which is great for streaming and catching up on news and sports. We offer all guests upon arrival if they need assistance with their luggage in addition to providing a map. I am sorry that you were not able to find the accommodation easily.
Breakfast is not included with any 3rd party booking here at Basin harbor. This would have also been covered with you on arrival.
I am very surprised at your feedback regarding breakfast. We offer a plentiful buffet with an omelet station, as well as hot and cold items.
I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations.

AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL IN FALL
We stayed at this hotel mid-October, and arrived at night. It seemed a bit out there, and we did not know what our surroundings would look like once we woke up in the morning. Let me tell you, we were in awe!! We traveled over 1,000 miles during our fall New England road trip, and I had not taken so many pictures in one single place the whole time! The grounds are better than any place we had ever stayed - they had beautiful trees, an amazing harbor, historic buildings, fall colors, adirondack chairs everywhere, a view of the amazing Adirondack mountains, and while we were there, carved, lit pumpkins lining the paths. They booked us on a busy fall weekend to stay that very evening, staff was great, breakfast buffet was awesome, etc., etc., etc. The ONLY downfall to our stay was the room: small, queen bed, no TV, and the bathroom was so mildewed we waited on our shower once we moved on. This hotel really made our whole trip though and I would absolutely go there again. I know this is long-winded, but really, that is how impressed I was with this place. If I could upload my photos - believe me I would!

In the middle of nowhere
Pros:Nothing
Cons:The attitude of the front desk staff. No apology was given.
Location:The place has a beach 30 feet wide on the lake, a golf course, bikes to rent, a pool. 40 from Burlington.
Booked a queen room, but got two double beds. Complained about no queen bed. They said that they would change us to a king sized bed, because they had no queen available. They accepted our reservation as a queen bed. When we arrived to our new room, on the second night, the room was as small as a bathroom! It was two double beds side by side, with a gap in between. No windows, no balcony, no view, leaky faucet in bathroom, and bugs. Bumped our heads on the ceiling when we stand up straight besides the bed. We will never stay there again and we do not recommend it to anyone. Not worth the price - even half the price!
