Wonderful time!
We were able to get away from all the stresses of life and just rest and unwind. It was so nice. Though there are other houses around, we felt secluded. It wasn’t until the last day (of 7) we were there that we encountered or interacted with others in the neighborhood. Everyone was super friendly.
The hot tub was a huge blessing.
Everything we needed to relax was right there.
A few things if you’re thinking about staying here…
Google maps will not get you where you need to go! The host will provide you with clear directions to follow to find your way. Follow those, not an app. 😁
Consider bringing your own pillows. There are plenty of pillows, with several differing thickness/firmness, but it’s one thing we thought we would bring next time just because we are used to ours.
The driveway is a pull through which was nice. It’s a bit steep so if your bumper is low, you will want to be prepared to enter/exit with care.
The host was super helpful and responded right away to all our questions. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring.
Be sure to visit the resort store at the top of the hill. They have goodies you will want to give a look, including free samples of their homemade ice cream. 😍
If you enjoy hiking there are a ton of places around the area, and just walking around the resort area will provide plenty of exercise and great views.
This will definitely be on our list of spots to consider the next time we have a chance to get away!
