Our room was nice but if you're staying on a weekend it will be noisy as there is a dance club and bar outside the room. We left the TV on to drown out the noise when we slept. Terrible parking situation. I would recommend sending a message to guests before their stay asking them to stop into the hotel before parking to try to obtain a parking pass. I paid for parking because the hotel didn't get back to me in a timely manner when I asked if they had any passes left and what time I should arrive in order to obtain one. I was never offered a free breakfast or anything to compensate me for the parking even though I asked.

It is a lovely converted property with spacious rooms with good facilities including it's own kitchen area. Our bathroom was lovely, fresh, modern and clean. Nice very large comfortable bed and a large bedroom with plenty of space. Bit of noise from outside but with secondary glazing it's soon gone! The staff for check-in at The Black Boy were great and with the free parking offered on the carpark at the harbour just a short walk away it was perfect.

The pub was amazing. Met some great locals and had a super evening Room was large with a small kitchen and renovated bathroom. Overall was great. If you are an early sleeper there was a bit of pub noise from across the street...but wasnt an issue for us

Good room, great having kitchen attached. Room was very warm which was bit of a challenge as air con seemed a bit temperamental Who'd have thought we needed it in Britain this year !! Otherwise excellent. Would stay again Room tastefully furnished to suit older property and be in keeping which was nice
