BreakFree Hotel

Pros: This hotel is in the heart of Cairns. You can't beat the location. Easy walk to everything.
Cons: Would be nice to have an automatic dishwasher, but there is no room to accommodate this.
Location: Centrally located. Eat, drink, shop, harbor for reef and island excursions within walking distance. Grocery and liquor stores 3 blocks away.from hotel
This hotel is right in the heart of Cairns. Easy walk to everything. We had a harbor view one bedroom and the view was fantastic. Really fun to watch the comings and goings at the harbor and of course the ocean. The balcony was adequate to have a table for 4 persons+ The kitchenette was fine. Had everything except a automatic dishwasher. Having a washer in the unit was a plus. Mattresses were a little hard, but we found that in all places we stayed throughout our 3 weeks in AU. There is a pool and patio area + BBQ.
