We arrived excited for the air conditioning during the hot Calgary weather only to learn there was none. After double checking the listing i confirmed it was in fact listed in the amenities for the property. I reached out to the property owner who let me know the air conditioning was not working but there were small fans in each room. There is no air conditioner unit on the property so the ac wasnt dysfunctional, it is non existent. The fans in each room are very small and turn off after 4 hours. The windows in the home do not have screens so opening the window is not an option either. There is one window that does open which is in the shower, this window is stuck open and cannot be closed which was disappointing the following day when it was cold and rainy. The property owner was incredible and responded quickly however, the lack of air conditioning or functional windows was a huge downfall. We actually considered cutting our losses and renting a hotel room to cool down

New property with dishonest host
Photos are accurate as this is a newly renovated property. That is the positive. With a family of 5, we made sure to book a property that had certain criteria, air conditioning being one of them. This was advertised that it had one but once I messaged the host, I was advised it did not. I know, first world problems, but while in the middle of a heat wave, this was a must. The host messaged that he would bring fans and dropped off small garbage box fans that had to be placed right beside the kids bed for them to feel a breeze. No options to circulate air around the residence as the central fan only blew around hot air. There were no screens on the windows, so when you open the windows in the evening and have the lights on, several bugs/moths would come in, so we were left walking around in the dark in the evenings while using our phone flashlights to get around and find things. The host mentioned that he would look at the screen situation, but never reached out and quit responding. My family did not enjoy the number of bugs in the house in the evenings. There are no instructions at all, and the host had to be prompted for all information. I would not return to this property as I would not be able to trust this dishonest host.

property was beautiful! Neighborhood was quiet and across the street to 2 parks so the kids loved that! Highlighly recommend this place! My only advice would be to leave a sheet of paper with simple details like wifi password, where to leave garbage etc so owners dont have to be contacted over simple things.
