I wouldn’t let my dog stay at his property. The place was filthy. Nothing in the hotel worked. There was no working water. None of the hot tubs worked. There was no concierge available. There were no available clean towels. staff was unaccommodating. There were no vending machines, no ice machines, and no real front desk staff. There was a foul smell coming out of the tub drain. The door to my hotel room shook violently when the wind blew. The elevator did not work, and we had to carry heavy luggage to the third floor.

An unexpected gem.
Based on online photos of the rooms, I wondered why my friend had booked us into this particular hotel. Until I arrived! If you like art and historic buildings with amazing detail and marble everywhere, this is a fantastic choice. The hotel is on the strip with millions of other hotels but has a private beach which makes all of the difference in the world. On either side of us were hordes of people, but our section of the beach never had more than 10. It was quiet and blissful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable if dated. Unfortunately my room was not prepared when I arrived and they rushed the cleaning which definitely left something to be desired. The grounds, friendly staff, and food made up for any minor inconvenience. My one complaint is that the security team is largely elderly men which means doing anything takes forever. It took 20 minutes to check out because the guy didn't know how to use their tools. Taxis and Ubers cannot come up to the hotel which is on the top of a steep rise, and every time you go in and out you need to check in with the security staff. We wasted a lot of time waiting to complete this task because the guys were very unresponsive and slow. Overall, I would absolutely recommend staying at Hotel &Museo Turquesa for a relaxed vibe and a boutique experience.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The working staff is very nice. I ate 3 times there. Breakfast and fish for lunch and dinner was wonderful. Getting my relax on could not have been accomplished at a better place. I also shopped for food and gifts at the mall the very close. Great place!

the staff is very friendly the property needs to be taken care better. My wife and I slept in a horrible mattress for 4days! and the pillows are not the best And we know they can do better, ahh counting that I got stock in the elevator! for almost one hour ringing the alarm, yelling my wife came for my help because I didn’t show up and call my brother and he runs for help an a security staff and others open the elevator it was very hot and humid. at least was me not my wife or my brother who suffered from claustrophobia they could have a heart attack!
