We stayed at the Royal Service at Paradisus Cancun for 4 nights/5days. During this stay we celebrated my daughter's birthday. Our butler Norma did a fantastic job! She decorated our daughter's room, brought cake and champagne, organized a fantastic dinner at La Palapa (where cake was again had, and everyone sang). During the stay, Norma made sure all reservations were made, Bali beds reserved and our every need taken care of. Special shout-outs need to be made though for others - Cesar, Valeria and Roman were EXCELLENT pool concierges! Drinks were never missed, food was always brought to our Bali Bed, and smiles were always on their faces! Julio at La Palapas restaurant was THE BEST waiter! Thomas at MOLE made our dinner so much fun (including the crickets/grasshoppers)! The entire staff at Paradisus were so friendly, always helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. We would not hesitate to book our next vacation at a Melia resort!

Very nice place. The big thing that I didn't realize is that it is only the "royal service" portion of the property that is 18+. The rest of the property is "family" (Including the restaurants). So every night I ate dinner, (no exaggeration), there was at least one yelling/crying child for the length of my meal. The next time I choose an all-inclusive, sadly, i'm not sure I would come back here because of that. If you have a family, or don't mind little children, then I highly recommend this hotel. Also, when I arrived on monday, all the cabana's were already booked until THURSDAY (I was leaving on Friday), So, I clearly needed to contact the hotel in advance to reserve one for the first days of my stay. Somehow that information should be made clear from the hotel before a visitor arrives. Note that the rooms have light sensitive lights behind the bed that get brighter the darker the room gets and do not turn off unless you kill all the power to the room, which for me made it very difficult to sleep every night I was there. Also, visitors should be told to have whatsapp on their phones. You basically communicate w your "butler" via text, and he didn't tell me that whatsapp was better for use than regular texting until the last day, when we realized he was missing some of my messages. Aside from these factors, again, I very much recommend this oplace. The staff were very wonderful.

Great place to be pampered!

Had a fabulous time! The hotel staff made sure our group was well taken care of the entire trip. Our butler (Gerardo) made sure we had everything set from dinner reservations, beds by the pool, and even our favorites stocked in our hotel rooms. The staff by the pool took great care of us as well - especially Victor! I have stayed here before and this time was even better.
