We have been visiting the Angel 2-3 times a year for over 20 years, but this was our first time as residents. The property is dated, and is clearly trading on its past reputation. Bar and restaurant staff were unprepared for visitors and were unhelpful and slow. They also had no regard for residents post match. Thankfully the reception and cleaning staff were excellent - friendly, polite and helpful.
