Nice layout open courtyard indoor pool. Room was neat design had a room with a king bed. Bed was comfortable!

Very quiet location with friendly staff. Booked for indoor pool and hot tub but when we arrived the hot tub was undergoing repairs. The pool was large and heated so that made up for the nonworking hot tub. Breakfast was not a buffet style but rather sit down to order from a specific menu. They were extremely busy the morning we stayed and it took over an hour for use to finish our breakfast.

Save Money and Head North

Pros: The service was wonderful. Both at check in and check out the employee's were incredibly cheerful and helpful. They certainly were a credit.
Cons: The building and rooms could be updated. It seemed a bit shabby.
Location: Halfway between Carlsbad and Roswell.
So after getting price quotes for $200+ for 2 star hotels in Carlsbad, my husband and I headed north to Artesia. The prices were more reasonable and only 1/2 hour away.

Nice Indoor Swimming Pool

Pros: The indoor pool and hot tub. The size of the room.
Location: We stayed here after visiting Carlsbad Caverns. It was a cheaper option than staying in Carlsbad, where apparently the oil boom is dictating prices.
We stayed 1 night. The indoor pool and hot tub was clean, and a nice treat after spending the afternoon walking through Carlsbad Caverns. Our room was clean, and roomy. It's an older hotel, so there were some character flaws in our room, but it's clean. We would stay there again.

Nice place for the price

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Nice hotel, but would ask for a room on second floor or higher. The windows are old and do NOT lock well. Great pool and hot tub. Nice breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is average condition

This hotel is kept clean and has a helpful staff and front desk. The pool area is nice with room to lap swim. There is a restaurant attached to hotel.This hotel is 20+ years old.

family vaca.

we stayed ( 2 adults and 3 kids) at the hotel and it was really nice. a hot breakfast each morning . a very good indoor pool with a hot tub. the employees at the fron desk were very good. only prob we had was the room key kept getting de magnatized had to go to the desk to get new ones but they were very good about it.i would stay here again.
