This location was very close to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of choices for dining at Whites City. You have to drive to Carlsbad for a variety of dining options. I would also recommend filling your tank before arriving to this location, since the gasoline price at the local gas station was about 50 cents higher per gallon.

Rooms are large and spacious! Staff were willing to keep trying to set things right after heater in 1st room didn't work, then key to second room didn't work, then door to 3rd room was stuck, finally 4th room was fine.

This motel is very close to Carlsbad Cavern. It is in the middle of nowhere (not a bad thing). There is one gas station, convenient store, gift shop, and restaurant (with very limited options, but good). The rooms were larger than most and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and if we ever go back, we would stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay - the room is large, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It makes a great base for visiting the Carlsbad Caverns National Park. It’s so close to the park that I can do hikes in the morning, come back to my room to chill during the hottest time of the day, and return to the park for walks or the bat flight program in the evening. The motel has a nice pool with some fun water park features that are popular with the kids.
