They gave me a room that smelled like a cigarette. Had to get a new room , did not get the king bed I asked for , and also noisey

The hotel is close in 1-75 and a variety of restaurants. The bathroom sink & toilet, sheets and towels were clean, but the floors could have used additional attention. If decor matters, don’t stay here. The furniture is dated and worn and walls were not repaired after the removal of a shelf or something. I’ve paid a similar price for a hotel room in much better condition.

First off, my entry key was given to me in a dirty pre-used sleeve. Parking was plentiful. Once inside room #238 I immediately washed my hands, sink quickly backed up. There was a lingering cigarette smoke smell inside the room, once in the bed we realized it was the comforter that reeked of cigarette smoke, bothered me all night. We left before daylight. Especially During these COVID days or any other days, unacceptable! We’ll never stay in a Day Inn again.

We wanted a good night's sleep and that's what we got. Beds were super comfortable. This is an older motel that has been pleasingly renovated. It was clean and had a minimal free breakfast which was okay with us. The night manager, Jody, was excellent and went out of her way to make us comfortable in our time of need. Thank you Jody!
