Castrovillari Hotel & Travel Guide

There are very few places to stay on Travelocity close to Castrovillari's center. We recommend all visitors book when you can if you are thinking of staying central.

The Locanda di Alia is up there with the most conveniently positioned Travelocity-listed accommodation options, one of not many places within an easy walk of the Castrovillari center.

14 miles (23 kilometers) from the main part of Castrovillari, you will come across the Baia degli Achei Village. Alternatively, the Bagamoyo can be found approximately 14 miles (22 kilometers) away. Some more places to stay around this area are the Al Vecchio Biroccio along with the Chalet Rocco.

Time permitting, enlightened travelers should discover the other scenic and cultural delights of the Calabria region. Calabria is known for rural landscapes, beaches, forests and rivers, and common tourist sites are ruins, castles and traditional villages. In this section of Italy travelers might try their hand at skiing.

Looking for more activities? Consider spending some time visiting AquaFans Water Park and Sanctuary of S. Maria della Grotta, in Praia a Mare, 25 miles (39 kilometers) west of Castrovillari. Some Praia a Mare places to stay include the Borgo di Fiuzzi Resort & Spa and Branca. Or stay in Rossano, 25 miles (43 kilometers) to the southeast of Castrovillari, where you can choose from the Hotel Club Residence Roscianum and Park Village Hotel. Whether you're just passing through or staying in Rossano, make sure you visit the Odissea 2000 and Amarelli Licorice Factory.

When you are traveling via Lamezia Terme International Airport and would like to find somewhere to stay nearby, look at Hotel Ashley or Hotel Class.
