The location perfect to see everything that Catania had to offer. The food at the rooftop restaurant was good and the view was incredible. Breakfast was amazing. "Hotel is located on the most central street in Catania, Via Etnea. The owner is very friendly and helpful, he will answer any of your questions and help whenever needed Rooms are beautiful and very spacious, they have a balcony, refrigerator, private bathroom. There is also a cofee machine in the hallway. Although it us on a noisy street, the room is soubdproof. Loved the vintage vibe to it. Would recommend this hotel to anyone exploring Catania"

"5 of us girls stayed at OttoMood and our room had 3 single beds and one queen bed. It was perfect. There was a closet to store our belongings and the staff were great to make sure we had fresh towels or we could help our selves. The morning breakfast was simple yet all we needed to start the day. The cappuccinos were good too. The staff were helpful and friendly. Wifi was intermittent, but overall good. Bottle opener in room. Access to a shared kitchen. We left our wine bottles in there over the course of the week and they were never taken. Kettle in room. Cute balcony. High ceilings. Secure building and safe area of Catania right in the center town. Tons of places to eat and within walking distance to the Fish market, beaches, sightseeing. Slightly noisy at night if you sleep with balcony door open but quiet when closed. Great value!"

The situation was saved by one restaurant across the street, Manga. The three simple meals I had there were good."
