We arrived mid-day and found no difficulty gaining access through the controlled gate to the property. We were met by the proprietess who is the daughter-in-law of the owner. After a quick tour of the property which includes a beautiful private swimming pool, she pointed out some paths through a somewhat neglected lemon orchard. Our room was easily accessible with parking right in front of our rental unit. Fridge, stove, oven and cooking utensils are good. The place was very clean, modern and spare. Make sure to bring your own soap, laundry detergent, and if you are arriving later in the day - food and coffee to tide you over.
The drive to town is mere minutes but finding good food vendors can be a trick. If you aren't familiar with foreign washing machines, be sure to ask how to use the one in your rental unit.
Meeting, and socializing with other visitors can be delightful - or not. For us it was great. We had a very relaxing time and took an extensive tour of the coastal area including the old tuna processing facility. Even in mid-October it can get hot and sunny - bring sunscreen!
