My spouse and I spent a week at the Quest hotel in Cebu, PH. My impression is that it fits the bill for a mid level facility, that would like to consider itself to be a few rungs higher than it is. We had a standard “deluxe “ room. The view overlooked the pool area. The bathroom is small with a shower, no tub, a vanity sink, and a toilet that sports a hose to wash your bum. The kingsized bed took up most of the rest of the space. They push the buffet. We ate there three times, and while a bit pricey many people seemed to enjoy it. I found the food to be ok, but a little bland with some items that should have bee hot, were not. You can order ala cart, but it’s best to inform them of the prior to being seated. The pool is smallish with a bar at one end that allows one to order and consume drinks while in or out of the pool. Pool towels are provided to guests after sign in, Generally the staff was very helpful and courteous. Room service cleaned and refreshed our room each day. Our laundry was cleaned twice, but the second time they did not deliver it to us and I had to ask for it at checkout. One day we were locked out of our room for about an hour, but the facilities staff was eventually able to repair the lock. Our price per night was about a 1/3 that of a similar hotel in the Peninsula area of Virginia’ s East coast USA. I have to imagine that there are hotels in the area that offer a much more refined experience, but many people will be happy staying at the Quest.
