Perfect getaway
I loved my time on the boat this weekend. It’s very relaxing and the roof deck is to die for. The bed is comfy and the AC keeps the boat cooler than you’d expect. If you don’t mind a bit of inconvenience that comes with boat living, then you’re in for a treat. I’ve already started looking at dates this summer to head back!

Fun stay!
We enjoyed the stay! It was the perfect spot to watch the swansboro flotilla! The boat could have been cleaned a little better - dust and dog hair throughout - and easier access to get into the boat would have been helpful as it was quite tight on the side without direct ramp access. There is also not a fully functional toilet - there is a small portable potty available on board but it was not ideal. However, the host was very helpful and available to help with everything and the dock is large so this allows for good space to hang out! It’s a great concept and was a great experience!

cute boat but not for us
The boat itself was very cute, but the toilet situation was definitely not for us. 3 big towels for 2 adults was not enough. The shower wasn't draining very well (and yes, we did pull the little pin at the sink while taking a shower). We cleaned it as good as we could, so water would drain better. The window AC unit could use a new filter.

Disappointing Host
First of all, we loved the boat except the bathroom! Was told last minute that we would be using a camping toilet and that we’d have to walk 150 feet to a dirty porta-potty to use the bathroom. The bathroom had no light, but host said he had a spot light to use, but it had no charger. Luckily, I brought a touch light that I had in my truck. Host bathroom light was disconnected for safety reasons, but there’s a propane tank in the bedroom for the stove. Even with the propane shut off, it can still leak, there was no gas leak detector in the boat. Went and brought 60.00 in groceries and during the night, the refrigerator went out. Got up and all the food was hot! Told the host, and he said he’d get his refrigerator guy to check on it. The host texted us back and said he’d put another mini frig in and that “Dinner was on him” We thought, ok that was nice and would compensate out groceries. Waited for dinner but host lied and did nothing!! Didn’t even text us to ask if everything was ok and if mini frig was working! We had to go buy a antenna for the tv cause it had no internet on the boat. Couldn’t get on the top of the boat because the rail from the ramp was in the way of the ladder. I was very disappointed about this. Overall the stay on the boat was good, and the boat was nice, but the host lied to us which disappointed us to where we’d never stay here again.

Beach trip
We throughly enjoyed staying on the boathouse! It was a fun and cool alternative to a hotel. Marc was great with communication and if we had an issue, would come right away to fix it. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy Houseboat Glamping
Fun weekend on the water! We kayaked, swam, floated and had tiki drinks on the top deck while watching the boats go by and the sun set. Picked up fresh seafood on the bridge for a low country boil. After a day in the sun we sank into the cozy bed for a great sleep!
