I didn’t see anything that was unique or something that I’ve never seen before, it was clean but some things were old and needed to be updated. But the rooms definitely needed an overhaul. The pillows were horrible. They should be thrown out and replaced with new ones. The cleaning schedule should be adjusted a little more. If you are not going to automatically change the sheets, maybe you can do the garbage pickup on a daily basis, or make it easier to dispose of it.

I found it disappointing that you were expected to pay for WiFi in a $200 / night room. My room had no glasses or even plastic cups in the bathroom. Small things, but disappointing nonetheless.

Property and staff were great. After TRAVELOCITY apparently cancelled my room, they went above and beyond to get me a room at a better price. Not sure what travelocity was doing but the HGI was great. Good location to Charleston at half the price of charleston hotels.
