It was our first time in Charleston. We didn't know where to stay and chose this hotel. The staff did an incredible job, given the covid situation. We rented a car and were within 15 minutes of everything we wanted to see. The staff were kind, courteous, and accommodating.

Do not ring the doorbell at 8 am to remind the PAYING customer that it is check out day. I can assure you we know. I am sure you want people out as soon as possible, but you have a posted check out time. Also, you need communication with Travelocity if you are adding a per person fee on top of what has been charged.

Sink drain was stopped up. Called and asked for fox, but never was fixed. Rooms need safes.

Family trip to Charleston

The absolute friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. Everyone was so nice and spoke when passing, helpful with questions, and overall seemed to be really happy to be working there. The room was great and had everything we needed. We couldn’t believe the extras they offered. They brought popsicles to the kids at the pool, had a complimentary dinner with burgers and sides, complimentary beer and wine during dinner hour, quality complimentary breakfast. Saved a ton of money on dining!! Location was so convenient to Folly beach (10 min), Isle of Palms (25 min), old downtown (6 min) and city market area (10 min). Would stay again in a heartbeat

NICE, CLEAN AND CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON

Pros: NICE, CLEAN AND CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON.
Cons: EVERYTHING WAS GREAT
Location: JUST MINUTES TO DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON FOR GREAT DINING AND RETAIL SHOPING. ALSO CLOSE TO SOUTH CAROLINA AQUARIUM AND WASTERFRONT.
NICE, CLEAN AND CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON. OFFERS SHUTTLE IN THE EVENING TO DOWNTOWN SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PARKING.

Great Deal

Rooms are suites with full kitchen, 2 TVs, sleeper sofa. Inn has free breakfast, pool & hot tub. Helpful and friendly staff. The one negative - sleeper sofa mattress was thin....not recommended for probably anyone over 40. Inn is convenient  to downtown and the beach. Very good rate. I would definitely stay there again. Also pet friendly, though not a draw for me.

Little things

The overall stay was great. The issue was with the television. At times it will freeze up and that was Througthout the hotel.
