First time me and my wife stayed in a Bed and Breakfast it was amazing. Staff was great, amenities, breakfast, happy hour, rooms were 5 stars, I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to others

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Water's Edge Inn. It's in a great location. Very walkable to restaurants and the beach. The inn also offers complimentary bicycles, as well as complimentary golf cart shuttle from 8 am until 8 pm around the island. Our room was in great condition. I loved the huge bath tub. We definitely recommend this inn!

Spent 3 nights in the Islander and it was great!! Had a wonderful Anniversary staycation. Location was excellent, close to food and attractions. Quaint and comfortable!

Disappointing for the price

Pros: The decor of our room was very tastefully done. Quiet environment.
Location: Water's Edge is within a 10 minute walking distance of local eatery's on the island.
We were passing through the area, spending the day in Charleston before traveling on, and looking for more than just another hotel room; I am a fan of independently owned B & B's. We stayed in the Regatta, a ground level room. The room does not offer independently operating AC, therefore the only air flow available is an overhead fan. Unfortunately, in spite of having the fan on, the room became stuffy, Since it was not a full house, I would think it might entice guests to return and to recommend the establishment to friends & family if a complementary up-grade is extended under those circumstances. At least that is my experience in other B& B's. For a B & B, I was disappointed with the breakfast. Although a variety of items are offered, I found the selection nothing more than what is offered at a chain hotel: mostly prepackaged. There was nothing about this B&B that made it stand above chain hotels, thus my overall "O.K" rating.
