Flight Review

Mar 16, 2020

Frankfurt airport was less than efficient. Disembarked by ramp to bus to terminal and then I walked a bit to my connecting flight.

Mar 11, 2020

free wine on international flights...awesome!

Mar 6, 2020

It is Lufthansa no more to be said, it is just the best

Mar 2, 2020

Staff member could have been more polite when I had to use the rest room. I hadn't noticed the seat belt sign, but also had a problem that required me to leave my seat. He was rude, rather than politely asking me to return to my seat.

Mar 1, 2020

They moved passengers around so they could be comfortable on the long flight

Feb 27, 2020

Staff very calm and helpful.

Feb 24, 2020

Need to add that there’s a charge for WiFi

Feb 17, 2020

Good nice staff

Feb 12, 2020

Not happy paying for only one bag

Feb 8, 2020

Very helpful service in needing special needs like a wheelchair.

Feb 6, 2020

I had a lot of trouble with the online check in. I tried to purchase a seat and couldn't (it said it was too early: it was 24 hours in advance). I paid for a checked bag online and at the airport they told me they had no record of it. Not good form.

Feb 6, 2020

Again. Thank you.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Frankfurt

These practical tips and hints about airport security procedures will save you lots of time on your way to Frankfurt:

  • Ensure your boarding pass and passport are not difficult to reach. You will be asked to show them straightaway.
  • It's important to know that metal belt buckles can set off the body scanner's alarms. If you're wearing one, you may be asked to remove it before continuing.
  • Ensure your laptop, phone and other electronic devices are within reach. These items need to be put through the X-ray machine separately.
  • When you get to the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to place all gels, liquids and creams in a separate tray for inspection. Make sure they're all packed in containers smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Consider your choice of footwear. Slippers are awesome because they're a piece of cake to step out of when you're doing the airport security checks. Try wearing a pair on your next flight!
  • Some places have strict quarantine laws. Consider where you're journeying to and whether or not you're permitted to fly with fresh fruit and meat.
