Flight Review

Mar 18, 2020

My luggage was damaged on this flight. While I am happy with the customer service received at the airport, the care of the claim has been underwhelming. All I have received is an email asking for the information that had already been provided.

Mar 16, 2020

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Mt. Hood

Your trip to Mt. Hood begins as soon as you've finished the security checks. Here are a few hints and tips to help you pass through quickly:

  • Security personnel will expect to see your boarding pass and travel ID upon arrival. Tuck them away in a convenient place, ready for inspection.
  • Remove your jewellery, belt and shoes before arriving at the airport security checkpoint. Items like these are not permitted to pass through the body scanner.
  • Make sure your laptop, phone and other electronic devices are within reach. These items need to be put through the X-ray machine in separate bins.
  • Traveling with your favorite cologne or perfume? As long as it contains no more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and it's stored in a clear zip-lock bag, you can keep it with you in your carry-on luggage.
  • Think about the type of footwear you want to fly in. Slippers are awesome because they're easy to slip out of for the airport security checks. Try wearing some on your next journey!
  • Some destinations have stringent biosecurity laws. Consider where you're journeying to and whether or not you can fly with fruit and meats.
