No issues with this flight

Feb 18, 2020

Our Flight Attendant (CeCe) was so helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to make my kids and me comfortable. It was a nice flight but he made the experience even better. I regret that I didn't get his last name!

We put a man on the moon. Why is it so difficult to see there’s a better way to board the plane?

Feb 13, 2020

My entire flight experience from Charleston, SC to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton was fantastic!

Jan 28, 2020

Flight from VLD was delayed an hour but there was great communication letting me know and keeping me updated.

Very good flight...landed earlier than expected.

I did almost miss my flight because I was confused about my flight. My itinerary said that my flight was at 8:45 with a different flight number. The ticket I received in Raleigh said that my flight was at 8:10 with another flight number. Not sure what happened but thankful that I got to the right gate on time.

Sep 20, 2018

I had assistance and the person was so helpful getting me to a restaurant and also then to my gate.

Sep 15, 2018

American Eagle seats are really to small with limited leg room. But it was a good price friendly service a clean plane.

Flights To Scranton

Scranton is the perfect destination for an all-American adventure. Known as the Electric City, this quaint Pennsylvania town has a fascinating past that stretches far beyond its role as home of the fictional enterprise Dunder Mifflin in "The Office." Scranton does an excellent job preserving its heritage as a Rustbelt city and is a fascinating place to explore the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution. Flights to Scranton land at the Wilkes Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP). You will discover how tickets to Scranton are tickets to discovering the history of steel, coal, railroads, steam power, electricity, and more.

Transportation from AVP

Scranton hotels, especially those in the city's historic center, are ideal home bases for exploring the city and its surrounding region. Some hotel bookings can add car rentals to create the ultimate vacation packages to Scranton. You can also just request transportation to travel the 20 minutes from the airport into town. Numerous car rental companies can be found near the baggage claim on the first level of the terminal building, and a ground transportation service—the only authorized one in the airport that provides taxis and limousines—is located there as well. Public transportation isn't really an option from AVP to the city. To travel around with ease, stick with renting a car or hiring a taxi.

Explore the Electric City

To explore Scranton is to immerse yourself in two distinct yet inexorably intertwined timelines—a Rustbelt city amid a vibrant revival and a scenic Pennsylvania town once thrust into the country's churning Industrial Revolution. Scranton effortlessly embodies both of these identities and pushes the limits beyond. Discover these two worlds by booking a trip now! It's easy to find cheap flights to Scranton on Travelocity, where you'll benefit from our Price Guarantee: if you manage to find a lower price, know we will match it and refund the difference.
