How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Seongju

Your trip to Seongju starts as soon as you've finished the security checks. We've compiled a list of useful tips to ensure you get through quickly:

  • Be sure you know the location of your boarding pass and travel ID. You don't want to hold up the line when you're asked to present them.
  • You'll need to place your music on pause for a short while. Headphones must be taken off and put in a tray for X-raying. The same goes for items such as heavy jackets and belts.
  • Ensure your phone, laptop and other electronic devices are easy to reach. These items need to be sent through the X-ray machine in separate trays.
  • Toothpaste, deodorant and other toiletry items in cream, liquid or gel form need to be stored in containers smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters). They also need to fit in a 1-quart (1-liter) clear resealable bag.
  • Untie your shoelaces in preparation for entering the body scanner. Depending on the type of shoes you're wearing, security may tell you to remove them.
  • Pack any multi-tools or other sharp items inside your checked luggage. Security personnel don't allow such things in carry-on baggage.
