The most outstanding part of this hotel is its breakfast buffet! They have chef quality Sichuan food, not the American Sichuan food that is covered with chili. Real Sichuan food is fresh ingredient, and the purpose of the cooking is to bring out the flavors of the food. They have such a huge layout of the buffet, would take three average stomaches to get one sample of each

great hotel !

We just came from Chengdu China, and this hotel was great very modern, very quiet,clean, It comes with a breakfast in the morning which is very good as well as most hotel breakfast can be bland and boring they provide a nice selection to start your day. The staff is extremely friendly helpful to meet your every need. The location is great as it's right in the center of the city. Most important the bed is really comfortable, and there is a great shower. The hotel the Holiday Inn Express Gulou is a great bargain for everything you get.
