Stunning Seaview At Casuarina Point

Serenity Cottage is a charming traditional two-bedroom Bahamian cottage with all the conveniences that a modern traveler expects. There is a double bed in one room and two twin beds in the other. All the beds are top of the range and there is a deluxe memory foam sleeper sofa to ensure that wherever you are sleeping you will be very comfy! Extra housekeeping as well as a Bahamian cook can be organised by separate arrangement. A small boat can also be rented by separate arrangement subject to availability. The cottage has a light, bright and airy open plan design including a fully equipped kitchen, a large enclosed garden with young native fruit trees and parking for two cars. There is also a grill to cook your catch of the day and lounge chairs on the porch to relax after a long day on the water. From the double bedroom and the front of the cottage you can just see the stunning, practically deserted, eight mile, white sand beach which is only steps away and is hard, if not impossible, to beat! The cottage is located in the quiet, but friendly, residential area of Casuarina Point about 17 miles south of the airport at Marsh Harbour. There are endless things to do in Abaco such as diving, fishing, sailing, Island hopping and visiting the famous Blue Holes of Abaco. We are very lucky to have some great fishing guides on our doorstep who can be booked by separate arrangement. A 20 minute drive will take you to the ferry dock in Marsh Harbour where you can board one of the small ferries going to the Cays of which there are plenty. Once there you can go for lunch and sample Bahamian delicacies or hunt for more deserted beaches on your golf cart. Abaco is somewhere you can come and do as much or as little as you wish! Come to relax, fish and explore! Please note a lovely couple are building a house across the street. They have been incredibly considerate and do not seem to have had too much of an impact on the surrounding area and will be completed towards the end of March.

Amazing Stay
We had a wonderful time at Lucinda’s cottage. It was so adorable and SUPER clean!!!! I can’t say that enough. We enjoyed the beach for 6 straight days and loved every minute of it! She had everything we needed and I mean everything! From snorkel, to lunch chairs and umbrella! I would recommend her little house to anyone wishing to “get away” from the craziness of life to experience a little piece of paradise!

A week in paradise !
We loved our time at Serenity Cottage ! The house is so cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Every morning we enjoyed our coffee on the front porch enjoying the view, it's so peaceful there. We spent a lot of time snorkeling at the beach across the street and saw a sea turtle, ray, fish, and 2 huge orange sea stars !!! Lucinda provided great information on things to do in the area and also gave great directions on getting to the cottage from the airport. Thank you Lucinda for a wonderful cottage to be our home base for exploring the islands ! Kelly & Shawn

Excellent adorable cottage
This cottage was so adorable! Just across the street from one of the best beaches on the island. It appears small on the outside but the super high beamed ceilings inside open it up. The beds were super comfortable - best sleep we had all year. Very clean and kitchen had all you need to cook when not dining out. We also loved the covered front porch to relax and still enjoy the outside even when it was raining. It's a bit from town but this was our favorite side of the island (much better than crowded Treasure Cay). Also check the local holidays on the island when you fly in as we flew in on Easter and all markets were closed. Great fishing nearby. A definite recommend!!!

Serenity Cottage was near perfect for us. Weather cooperated but bonefish didn’t!
We really enjoyed our 3 week vacation at Serenity Cottage and Casaurina Pt. Lucinda responded to all our needs and Raymond, the caretaker, was quick to deliver items we requested. The cottage was immaculate, well decorated, and all basics were provided except for a dishwasher! Unfortunately during our stay a home was being constructed across the street partially blocking what was once, we assume, a beautiful view of the water. Water views are still there but on either side of the house. The construction crew was very friendly and even opened coconuts for our grandson. As avid bonefishers we spent most of our day on the flats so we avoided most construction noises. This, of course, was beyond Lucinda’s control. The house is near completion so won’t be an issue going forward. All in all, our stay was lovely and relaxing. For those fishermen looking to catch the elusive bonefish on Casuarina flats a warning; schools are few and far between and fish are very skittish.
