The property was nothing like I expected for Lake shore Drive and Hyde Park. Had to literally leave building, walk around the parking lot into another building (another hotel) up the elevator to get ice. At night the pipes made terrible noise, made a terrible knocking noise, like at time someone was trying to get in room. Made this noise throughout the night. Very very hard to sleep. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The toilet was very very small (probably the smallest ever made). My husband is very tall and it was soooo small. The bathtub didn't have a plug to hold the water. We had to use a washcloth to plug the hold. The toilet paper holder was far from the toilet making it difficult for our child to reach it.
If I was to give it a rating, I would give it a 1 out of 5. The 1 being housekeeping and parking. To housekeeping credit, the room was clean every day. They did a decent job. This hotel needs to spend some money and bring the rooms from the 1960s to at least the 2000s.

Thanks for sharing. Not sure why the 1 for parking as it is convenient and free saving you $40.00-$50.00 a day. Not sure about the pipes as we haven't heard that one before but we will check it out. You did say housekeeping did a good job and we appreciate that.

Ahh yes, our building is older and we do not have elevators for our second-floor rooms. But other than that you seemed to enjoy your stay thanks!

It was a decent room, wasn’t a microwave in the room which really sucked. Bed was really uncomfortable 😭😭 but other than that it was a pretty decent stay could’ve had more pillows and a better comforter felt like I was covering up with a hospital blanket.

We do not offer a pool and haven't for over two years. We also do not offer Mini fridges or microwaves, there not listed anywhere as an amenity.
